The New River is one of the premier Smallmouth Bass streams in Virginia.
At Virginia Outback we fish the New mainly from canoes, this is the best
way to get to all the spots on the river. We do run johnboats on
certain sections for those not at home in a canoe. We offer day long
trips (at least 8 hours on the water), lunch included for river smallies.
The best time to fish the New is starting in late April through early June
